Hello there, I’m Adriana. I’m a third-year Journalism student at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism in the University of Maryland. I also write for CHAOS Magazine, where I research and write reviews on young and upcoming artists.
I got to this place through a series of experiments and an obsessive habit of prying into everything unfamiliar. My experiences both on and off campus have taught me some practical skills in print, multimedia journalism, and photojournalism. I’ve worked on projects that vary from interviewing CEOs for the Washington Business Journal to filming a local tattoo and piercing parlor. Outside of the journalism world, I’m involved with orchestrating philanthropic and other social events on campus.
While I’m still navigating through career goals (among many other 20-somethings) I hope to always involve myself with work that allows me to write, film, and otherwise express people’s personal narratives.
